Mahomet resident Gabe Pommier won the Mahomet Freedom Four with a time of 20:35 for 4 miles. St. Joseph resident Alison Jones 28:37 was the female overall winner.
The race, which is a fundraiser for the Mahomet-Seymour boys and girls cross country programs, succeeded organizers’ expectations with the generosity of the runners and donations.
Organizers want to thank the Mahomet-Seymour community for their support and encourage runners to mark their calendar for July 4, 2020 as this is expected to become an annual race.
