The Village of Mahomet will soon mark State Street from Franklin to Crowley a no U-turn zone.
The move comes after Student Resource Officer Bill Ward notified the Village staff of motorists who make U-turns in front of Lincoln Trail Elementary, Mahomet-Seymour Junior High and Mahomet-Seymour High School.
The new regulation will begin June 1, 2021.
