Mahomet-Seymour Community Unit School District #3 is proud to announce that in recognition of his significant accomplishments as an educator, coach and friend of the students of the Mahomet – Seymour Schools, the weight room at Mahomet-Seymour High School will be named in honor of Jim “Riz” Risley. Earlier this year, the Mahomet-Seymour Board of Education took action, per Board Policy, to name this facility in honor of Coach Risley.
A presentation ceremony to recognize Coach Risley and to dedicate the room in his honor will be held on Friday May 10, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. in the fieldhouse at Mahomet-Seymour High School. The Mahomet-Seymour community as well as guests from the surrounding are invite to attend.
