MSHS JV Girls Basketball wins Thanksgiving Tournament
The Mahomet-Seymour JV Girls Basketball team won four consecutive games to take the Mahomet Thanksgiving JV Tournament. To kick off the tournament, the Bulldogs beat St. Thomas More 48-14. The Mahomet-Seymour Girls Basketball team improved to 4-1 with a 47-34 win over Mt. Zion Monday. Cassidi Collins scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebound while Erin Lenschow scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.

Two confirmed cases of whooping cough in Mahomet-Seymour Schools
The Mahomet-Seymour School District notified parents that there are two confirmed cases of Whooping Cough, also known as Pertussis, via email today with a letter from Champaign-Urbana Public Health District. The Mahomet-Seymour boys basketball team began the Lincoln/Eaton Round Robin Tournament 3-0 and 1-0 in the Apollo Conference with wins over Cahokia, Bartonville and Lincoln High School.
