Mahomet-Seymour Girls’ Golf wins Regional Championship

Athlete of the Week: Sophie Park
Seventh-grader Sophie Park finished the IESA State tournament in the 15th spot among 74 golfers last Thursday. Park represented the Bulldogs, shooting 91 on the Metamora Field Golf Club course. Park became the first Mahomet-Seymour girls’ golfer to qualify for the IESA state tournament by shooting 96 at the sectional tournament in Pontiac. Read more
