To Grandmother’s House We Go at Museum of the Grand Prairie

The Museum of the Grand Prairie, located in the Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve will host their annual To Grandmother’s House We Go Event on December 2 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Visitors can make, wrap, and take home presents and ornaments for families and friends, including popcorn garland, chromolithograph ornaments, and more! The Museum will also feature period-authentic carolers performing songs from the 19th century! This event is free, but registration encouraged.
