The Village of Mahomet leaf pickup program will be extended until December 3.
The leaf pickup program was scheduled to end on Friday, November 30th after area 5 pick-up is completed. However, the Village will make one final pass through all areas to collect any remaining leaves on December 3.
All leaves regardless of areas must be place curbside by 7 AM Monday.
Residents can bag remaining leaves and take to the Urbana Landscape Recycling Center for a fee. Leaves cannot remain piled in the right-of-way per village ordinance and a violation is subject to fine.
